Michael Riotto’s journey with multiple myeloma, a non‑curable blood cancer, has shaped his mission to educate and support others. His experience navigating treatment and recovery taught him that life is a gift—one best lived with purpose, gratitude, and resilience.

Upon retiring, Michael found his calling in patient advocacy, both self‑advocacy and legislative, working with groups such as Patients Rising Now, Blood Cancer United, Rare Disease Life Foundation, International Myeloma Foundation, Patient Advocate Foundation, and No Patient Left Behind. He shares his story with policymakers and support networks to inspire understanding and drive change.

An avid walker and fitness enthusiast, Michael finds peace on the trails near his home in Warwick Township. He enjoys time with his adult children, Christina and Theodore, and his grand‑puppy, Cash. His philosophy is simple: live each day fully and help others do the same.
