Patient assistance programs have helped millions of patients afford their medicines. See if you qualify today.

Having problems getting insurance to cover a prescribed medicine?

We suggest calling the inventors.

They didn’t spend decades inventing your medicine only for it to be denied by insurance on a technicality. Many drug companies offer Patient Assistance Programs to help patients access the medicines they need.

Try out our new Patient Assistance Lookup (PAL) to find what assistance programs are available for you.

Companies may set eligibility requirements for their patient assistance programs, but it’s worth checking to see if you qualify. Eligibility requirements can generally be found on the program’s website or by contacting support.

This PAL was designed by Pratham Modi, a former NPLB Biotech Fellow.

“I was on hold with the pharmacy for the third time that week, trying to find an assistance program that was supposed to exist, but no one could locate it. The assistance was theoretically available. Getting it was the impossible part.

My family member's medication costs thousands of dollars a month, even with commercial insurance. Thrown around between four specialty pharmacies in two years. Constant denials. Constantly transferred calls. No real progress.

I also saw this gap working at a doctor's office: physicians prescribe medications, and patients just can't afford them. The support that's supposed to exist on the other side rarely materializes.

That frustration is what built this tool.”

- Pratham Modi, NPLB Biotech Fellowship (Fall ‘25 Cohort)
